Desk Assignment CSV Template Guide
A clean CSV makes desk assignment faster, easier, and less error-prone.
If you are preparing desk assignments from Excel or Google Sheets, the safest workflow is to use a simple CSV file with clear headers. CSV keeps the tool lightweight and works well on a static browser-based website.

How to export from a spreadsheet
In Excel, choose Save As and select CSV. In Google Sheets, choose File, Download, and Comma Separated Values. After that, upload the CSV into the desk tool.
Need employee shift CSV files too?
If you are preparing office coverage rather than seating, use the shift schedule CSV guide. It explains employee availability, skipped holiday dates, shift names, and fixed assignments.
